Bridge Weigh-in-Motion system SiWIM® from Cestel (2020, in the process)
Developed by Cestel in 1999, SiWIM’s bridge weighing system is a unique tool for analyzing and comparing road congestion data, the estimated service life of the road surface for proper construction design, optimal calculation of repair costs and prosecution of those responsible for weight control violations..
The development and rehabilitation of road infrastructure requires a clear understanding of the projected level of road load. The results of research in European countries (particularly in the Republic of Slovenia) have shown that the cost of designing and building a pavement using SiWIM data increases the cost of construction by an average of 7%. At the same time, operating costs are reduced by 75% over the next 18 years (average savings of € 360,000).
SiWIM system allows you to get information about vehicles moving on the roads of Ukraine, such as total weight, number of axles, distance between them and the load on each, type / class of car, speed and even the lane in which the vehicle is moving.
The main advantages of the SiWIM system are:
